Telegram has raised a whopping sum of $1.7 million so far, making it the highest ICO yet.






Telegram is one of the hottest messaging apps in the world that can operate on multiple platforms and operating systems. It is also a common means of communication among crypto community.


Telegraph CEO Pavel Durov is keen to create a completely new blockchain, employing nearly 200 million Telegram users as a platform for its upcoming associated cryptocurrency to be widely used and make it "King of the crypto market.". According to TechCrunch, "Telegram Open Network" (TON) will be the blockchain 3.0 with superior capabilities (following Bitcoin and Ethereum).


Telegram expected to raise a fund of $600 million in the first pre-ICO sale and a total target of $ 1.2 billion. However, it raised $850 million in the first pre-ICO sale with the participation of only 81 loyal investors who were invited in advance in February 2018.


In the second pre-ICO sale in March 2018, Telegrams raised a sum fund of $ 850 million from 91 investors,which came to a total of $1.7 billion with nearly 200 large investors.
